Khiwansara Patil (Thergaon) hospital for Birth certificate (Aditya Birla)

If you have new born from Aditya Birla hospital and looking for where to collect your baby's birth certificate? Your frustration is totally true. I spend almost 3 days just to find where is Thergaon / Khiwansara Patil hospital or at least it's working number to get there.

Working hours : 9 to 12 morning.

Below is my research in two lines with driving direction - thanks to Vivek Chauhun.

Driving direction from Aditya Birla Hospital click here.

Wikimapia map

Google Map

From Dange chowk take road to kalewadi phata…

at around 1.5 km from dange chowk u will see Akshay park society on right side.. also 2 PCMC water tanks are visible…

If you travelling from Kalewadi Phata towards Dange Chowk, look out for MacD on left side, take next lane on left side just after MacD.

Take the road along with Akshay park society through the White cemented entrance without gates…

At the end you find the swimming pool at dead end.. hospital is on left side.

Note: People have reported that now-a-days they are also asking Aadhar of parents.

Just want to add to the above information. The above information is very helpful in finding the hospital. This hospital is 1.5 kms from Aditya Birla Hospital.

When you go the hospital they will give you a form to fill , where you have fill in the Child Name , Father’s & Mother’s Name and permanent address.
Deposit the form at the counter no 1 and they will ask you to come after 6 days to collect the birth certificate.

Thanks man. The info was really helpful.

Just a word of caution - though it seems from Google map that the hospital can be reached from the "Dutta Mandir/Theregaon Road", this is not correct. You will definitely reach the backyard for the hospital but there is no way to go to from this route. Pls follow the route as suggested earlier in the blog.

Official Timings are -
Mon-Fri - 9 AM to 12 PM
Sat - 9 AM to 11 AM

Thanks again for the post!

Thank you for sharing this information.

Recently we are blessed with a baby girl and ABMH has asked us to visit KP hospital after 60 days to collect the birth certificate. How relevant is this gap for 2 months to collect birth certificate? Please do share your experience.

How was the experience getting the birth certificate from this place..was it hassle proof...none seem to be highlighting this?

My experience was good. The person at window told me to order as many copies as possible ( i was thinking 5). Now I feel he was correct. Keep in mind that it is a PCMC municipality governed so all those inherited problems will come. But compared to other government offices, this is much better.

I had a bad experience for getting the birth certificate for my child.
The person at counter no 1 was arrogant and unhelpful:
My child was born in Jan 2016 at Aditya Birla Hospital, Thergaon.
I filled the PCMC birth registration form in the hospital which was submitted by the hospital within a couple of days.
I was asked to collect the birth certificate from Khiwnsara Patil Health Centre in Thergaon by the hospital.

On visiting the Khiwnvsara Health Centre in Thergaon on after about 12 days from the birth of my child, I was ridiculed by the the person managing the birth registration counter for coming so 'Early' for collecting the birth certificate.
The person told me that there is a software problem and it will take atleast a month to get the birth certificate.

What i Did:
I immediately lodged a complaint over email to egov@pcmcindia.gov.in.
My compliant was promptly attended by the Pune West Health Officer in charge who gave a stinker to the Thergaon Health office. Thanks to this i started receiving phone calls from the Khivnsara cenre head to please come and visit the centre and she will provide my certificate on priority.

What You Should Do:
Educated people like us should not suffer the manmani/ corruption from this govt centres.
An escalation mechanism is always available and if you make enough noise at the higher levels these people come to their senses and will treat you with the respect that you deserve.
I suggest the below mechanism:
- if the person at Counter No 1 at Khivnsara Health Centre is causing issues issuing the birth certficate, immediately meet up Dr. Ambedkar the Khivnsara centre head and highlight the issue to her.
- If you dont get a response from Dr. Ambedkar, please escalate to the the following:
Dr. K Anil Roy - Medical Officer of Health, a.roy@pcmcindia.gov.in.

sure enough your issue will get due attention and you will get your birth certificate within a day after this.

Please note the SLA for providing Birth Certificates is within 3 days after the birth registration form submission, so please do not listen to any crap from these Health Centre clerks.
